Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to work in the Toledo, OH area.
To weld and fabricate parts in accordance with specifications and per company standards by performing the following duties.
Duties:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
Cleans and prepares parts before welding.
Sets up and operates thermal welding equipment to weld, repair, join or fabricate parts by working with blueprints, sketches or verbal orders.
Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications.
Moves material with appropriate equipment throughout the work area as needed.
Completes standard job sheets for each job.
Reports any discrepancies in material to management.
Maintains tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
Notifies management of any large repairs needed.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Ability to work periodic weekends and holidays as needed, and do short travel work, (3-5 days), possible overnight stays.
Ability to lift and handle up to 35 lbs. On a consistent basis and work above ground heights, in excess of 50ft.
Ability to work in shop and on off-site field work.
Ability to pass GMAW, and SMAW, 3G, A-36 weld certification test.
Must have own tools.
Education:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Experience:
3+ years of related experience required.
Required Skills:
MIG and Stick Welding
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer knowledge.
Travel Requirements:
10% in field work
Miscellaneous:
Must possess a clean driving record in order to operate corporate vehicles.
