We are on the hunt for a seasoned professional to spearhead and oversee construction estimating operations in the Toledo area. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, with at least 3 years in managing heavy industrial construction projects, to our client's dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide the creation of comprehensive project proposals, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform detailed labor and material takeoffs, contributing to the development of precise project budgets.
Assess and recommend strategic projects for bidding, aligning with organizational goals and market opportunities.
Identify and address the need for additional information requests based on bid documents to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
Secure and meticulously analyze vendor pricing to deliver competitive and accurate estimates.
Integrate labor and material estimates into cohesive, compelling summary proposals.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of final estimate packages to guarantee precision and completeness before formal submission.
Serve as a technical advisor and resource for the estimating team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
