Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is assisting a manufacturing leader in S. Michigan/N. Toledo in finding a Supply Chain Manager. The Supply Chain Manager will:
Manage margin and risk by analyzing inventory positions, supply chains and market dynamics
Review inventory needs at the PPS level to result in buy requisitions rationalizing sales pricing programs, future market pricing, mill contract and discount programs, hedge alignment, and spot buy opportunities
Collaborate with Material Managers to maximize inventory and margin
Engage risk to align and manager financially hedged programs
Identify and manage spot buy opportunities to maximize profitability.
Monitor and manage the PPS inventory alignment, accuracy, mill specifics, forecast verse ship history, and supply chain.
Submit buy requisitions to achieve OTD and margin alignment.
Review mill offerings and excess lists to maximize margin.
Spot buy activities as required to support material needs and OTD.
Review of trade blotter and financial hedge positions to maintain proper purchasing alignment.
Review and optimize supply chain to include mill sourcing, processing locations and end use ship points.
