This rewarding opportunity involves working 40 hours a week, primarily with pediatric patients, with occasional interactions with adult clients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, providing tailored therapeutic interventions to support their communication needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Engage with families and caregivers to provide education and support, ensuring they are active participants in the therapeutic process.
Qualifications
Current licensure in the state of Ohio as a Speech Therapist.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric populations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
