This electrical/controls engineer position is to provide electrical and controls design, build, programming and field work for internal and external customers. Its purpose is to utilize electrical control solutions to create and manage manufacturing systems. The person in this position is responsible to carry out these essential functions in a manner which reflects the core values of, company's mission: To make a difference in the marketplace by providing Reliable, Respectful, and Responsible Engineering and Technical Services.
Essential Functions
•Serve as Electrical/Controls engineer and project lead.
•Design and field-work as required by company workload and customer needs.
•Manage engineering and projects to be completed successfully and accurately.
•Create & follow project schedules and budgets as required.
•Develop and lead engineering teams to reliably complete projects on time and on budget.
•Responsibly grow in technical knowledge and skill.
•Professionally and respectfully communicate both internally and externally
•Develop, implement, and standardize electrical engineering systems and procedures that meet industry standards, including electronic file and drawing organization, management, and naming standards along with these end goals in mind:
o Become proficient in robot programming.
o Become an expert in robot interfacing with peripheral equipment.
Business Development Help grow and sustain healthy relationships between the company and its customers. Supervisory Responsibility The person in this position serves as supervisor to the electrical engineering team and should present qualities associated with this position of authority including reliability, responsibility, and respect. This individual will display professionalism and act responsibly with the utmost integrity and with loyalty to the company team.
