Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) has a client in the Columbus, OH area seeking a Senior
Bioscientist for Direct Hire.
The Senior Scientist will be responsible for:
conducting high quality research, acquiring externally funded grants;
managing projects;
engaging with a multi-disciplinary staff to provide support for current and future R&D projects, and transitioning research into marketable products.
Qualifications:
PhD in microbiology or molecular biology.
Demonstrated experience winning government grants/contract, preferably Phase II SBIRs.
Experience in working with industrial partners under tight timeline and pressure to meet milestones is also desirable.
Strong record of research accomplishments and transitioning this research into successful products. •Strong experience in writing and winning federal proposals/grants from agencies such as NIH, DoD, USDA, DOE (e.G. SBIR, BAA, R21)
