We have an immediate need for an Assistant Sales Project Leader in our Reynoldsburg, OH corporate office. Hybrid remote work environment, excellent benefits package, flex time program, matching 401K plan and relocation package are available for qualifying candidates.
Position summary:
Serve as a communication window for the customer
Liaison with planning, quality and production personnel
Interact as required and, or assigned with customer personnel at the various business centers
Continuous learning regarding the materials and services required for our products
Analyze and understand the impact of past programs and practices on upcoming programs
Coordinate the Sales Department position and schedule with other departments and group companies
Become familiar with the group company processes and activities
Assure that proper commercial documents are in place and on time for the group companies to be compensated appropriately by the customer
Provide information to pertinent questions in a timely manner
Contribute cost perspectives to new designs and ideas or changes to current ideas
Interact as needed with planning groups
Promote innovative ideas to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Represent the company in a professional manner to the customer and to the community
Help develop better tools for the quotation process
Must be willing and able to travel both domestic and to overseas locations as required
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience in technical product or a related field
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to make presentations and lead meetings both internally and externally
