Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Quality Control Technician to work in the Atlanta, GA area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an attentive and meticulous individual to join our team as a Quality Control and Packaging Level I. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our products through diligent inspection and by ensuring that all items are packaged according to our strict standards and specifications. This role is foundational to our commitment to delivering superior products to our customers, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

-Performs all aspects of Quality Control for the Atlanta logistic warehouse hub.
-Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
-Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring products are packaged in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
-Manages and designs product packaging;and work instructions for DC& AC Power and Thermal products to ensure the protection/safety of the product and field technicians;must include the ability to use hand tools and power drills for building and designing specialize crating.
-Perform routine checks on packaging supplies and materials, reporting any shortages or defects.
-Assist in documenting quality standards, packaging procedures, and inspection outcomes.
-Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the inspection or packaging process.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
-Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job performance and knowledge of quality and packaging standards.
-Works to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of Supply Chain, Logistic and Quality
-Collaborate with service teams to establish quality requirements and standards for all service activities.
-Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in quality management and service delivery.
-Perform quality control functions such as incoming, first article and field returns inspection.
-Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, rejecting, and returning unacceptable materials.
-Return products for re-work such as RGA’s and RMA’s if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
-Leads process, product, and systematic continuous improvement projects;uses Six Sigma tools and techniques, assigns project team tasks, and uses the stages of the Six Sigma or DMAIC processes to complete improvement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Prior experience in quality control or packaging is advantageous but not required.
-Must be able to use measurement tools, basic hand tools and power tools.
-Keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
-Ability to operate or learn to operate packaging machinery and equipment.
-Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing or production setting.
-Physical ability to stand for extended periods and, if necessary, lift to 50 lbs.
-Ability to lead and manage projects, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
-2+ years’experience in a similar role preferred.
-Proficient in MS Office.
-Experience with MRP, and EDI systems (Oracle is preferred)
-Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
