Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Maintenance Tech to work in the Williamsburg, IA area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To support manufacturing in reaching quality goals while maintaining productivity. Represent the Quality Manager on the production floor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the Production Floor aspects of the Quality Department in its daily objectives, activities, tasks, assignments and problem which may arise.
- Perform daily reviews of shop floor with quality objectives in mind.
- Ensure both in-process and finished product are inspected at recommended frequencies per written instructions.
- Monitor the conditions of all check fixtures and inspection aids.
- Make appropriate decisions about discrepant material and initiate containments as required, elevate the decision to the Quality Manager when necessary.
- Ensure Quality Alerts and containment information is completed thoroughly and completely.
- Responsible for effective containments and communicating the results of the sort.
- Manages suspect/non-conforming inventory through disposition. Responsible for weekly review of BT inventory.
- Provide work direction, training and supervision of Quality Auditors and Weld Destruct Operators.
- Conduct shift carry over with other associates.
- Support the training of associates in the correct and consistent performance of their assigned duties.
- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with associates and management personnel.
- Attend and participate in department meetings, plant meetings, and training.
- Provide quality status reports during daily operations meetings.
- Provide reports as required by the Quality Manager.
- Adhere to, implement and maintain MAFACT and MQS requirements.
- Responsible for timely employee evaluations and ensuring Quality Department staffing requirements are met.
- Promote and facilitate Open Door process, effective communication and Fair Treatment.
- Participate in Continual Improvement activities.
- Adhere to customer requirements, Quality Management System and company policies.
- Attain safety, quality and productivity goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or designate.
Qualifications
- Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
- Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
- Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CMS
- Able to read and understand part drawings and blueprints; understand GD&T
- Able to use Micrometers, Calipers, Tape Measure, and other Measuring Instruments in determining conformance to specifications
- Able to use all Check Fixtures, Visual Inspection Aids, and Test Equipment in determining conformance to specifications
- Know and understand Statistical Process Control and its application in a manufacturing environment
- Able to assist associates in the use of all equipment and understanding quality systems
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers
- Able to operate and manage initial troubleshooting of all electronic gaging, computer hardware and software.
- Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to maintain an excellent attendance record
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience with quality functions
- Knowledge of Williamsburg Manufacturing processes, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of customer requirements
- Be an ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector or complete the requirements and pass the examination within two years of your department hire date
