Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Production Operator to work in the Sandusky, OH area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate production machines
Ensure product meets specifications and requirements
Examine, inspect and measure raw materials to determine conformance
Operate equipment as needed for efficient operation
Operate material handling equipment (hoists, cranes, fork trucks, hand trucks)
Inspect product and take samples
Inspect, and measure raw materials to determine conformance to requirements
Monitor production process to assure product remains within specification. Inspect work product and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
Promote safety and environmental compliance through active participation and support of company safety and environmental policies and programs and initiating corrective action for recognized unsafe conditions or hazards
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instruction
Ability to calculate and perform basic math skills
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Other:
Must have high diploma or equivalent
Attendance/ Punctuality: Must be consistently at work and on time
Must be available to work overtime and weekends
