Job Description

ITS has a client in the Norwalk, OH area seeking a Production Control & Logistics Customer Service Rep.  This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k. 
 
The Customer Service team member is the PC & L liaison between the company and the customer. This person will work closely with the Master Scheduler and Production Planner to ensure the customer demand is met and on-time. Customer Service is the key contact for internal functional areas (Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Human Resources, Finance, etc.). The Customer Service is responsible to monitor, review and update the customer portals applicable to the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor, review, update and manage customer portals. (bulletins, operating schedules, shortage/pilot tickets, scorecards, etc.)
  • Analyze forecast demand and identify risks associated with capacity and or the Master Production · Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods / tools for each customer portal.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints, provide solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Adhere to procedures, policies and escalate if an issue is identified.
  • Ensure EDI interface for incoming release data and outgoing ASN to the customer is accurate and timely.
  • Monitor KPI´ s performance to coordinate functional areas and define plans to improve.
  • Ensure that new customer part numbers are properly entered in SAP (staging process)
  • Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions, including a metric regarding production performance to the requested production schedule
  • Monitor OEM delivery ratings and initiate disputes as required within the customer portal / process
  • Ensures compliance with IATF, ISO, etc. Requirements
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure issues and priorities are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Have a clear understanding of Materials Management Organizational Guideline and Logistics Evaluation (MMOG/LE) and how it is utilized in an organization
  • Cross train with other positions within the department to fill vacations
Education / Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of customer service experience with a Tier 1 automotive supplier
  • Sequencing / JIT / ASN
  • 8D Problem Solving · Bachelor' s Degree desired
  • Prior experience in PC & L, S & OP, MPS/MRP, Production Scheduling, Operations, Inventory Management, Shipping
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PC&L, Controlling, Finance, Engineering
  • SAP experience required
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Prior PC & L Launch experience
  • Time management skills
