Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Mechanical Engineer to work in the Austin, TX area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
As an Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for working with other contributing mid-senior level Mechanical Engineers and design teams to create exciting and complex designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices for HVAC and plumbing design in industrial and manufacturing markets.
Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.
Consults with supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects appropriate methods and techniques to apply.
Provides supervisor and project manager with scope of work change warnings.
May write portions or all of the specifications as needed.
Performs design work on REVIT.
Coordinates work with other disciplines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required.
EIT preferred with a minimum two (2) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s).
Travel required.
Valid driver's license is required. May be waived for international assignments.
