ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Team Leader.  This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k. 

Role Summary

• Ensure all accidents are properly reported and accident investigations are completed within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records of team members and forward necessary information to Human Resources to be processed.
• Provide Leadership to all team members to ensure that adequate focus is generated towards achieving team goals.
• Support and follow the department control plan on a daily basis ensuring continuous improvement and achievement of departmental goals.
• Make sure all necessary tools and equipment required for area are in the proper condition and available for daily use and coordinate necessary repairs with maintenance.
• Complete Team Leader portion of 5s Board.
• Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, business use only.
• Must be able to work overtime and shift work as needed in accordance with Company Policy.
• Conduct daily informational meetings with assigned employees.
• Always maintain proper ergonomics when performing assigned tasks.
• Participate and support all Lean, Continuous Improvement Programs, initiatives and activities.
• Conduct semi-annual reviews of all employees as directed.
• Perform all assigned tasks and strive to meet all mold maintenance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Mold Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and follow the Mold Department control plan on a daily basis ensuring continuous improvement and achievement of departmental goals and objectives within TS-16949 guidelines.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of predictive and preventive maintenance directly related to all equipment regarding the Mold Department.
• Provide troubleshooting input as required to assist in the repair of equipment problems thereby minimizing downtime and providing valuable training to maintenance staff.
• Must supply tool list as identified. (see attached)
• Review, monitor and follow-up on a daily basis the activities and assigned work to ensure quality, safety and efficiency of maintenance work performed.
• Review team work orders on a daily basis to ensure accuracy in PMC.
• Communicate daily shift turnovers to other team leaders, team members or the Maintenance Manager to ensure a true team approach and to convey all pertinent information to provide the best possible support to the plant for team members on opposite shifts.
• Distribute daily shift notes to all technical groups and managers.
• Must be able to perform all duties assigned to the Mold Maintenance Technician.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Related Work Experience:

• Minimum two years experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional organizational, communication, and people skills.
• Experience with plastic parts an asset.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Educational Requirements

• Associate' s Degree required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
• Must have a working knowledge of Industrial Electricity, Hydraulics, and PLC.
