Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join a team in Avon, OH. This role offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery for safety issues
Requisition parts and services as needed
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures using test equipment
Dismantle defective machines and install new/repaired parts following specifications and blueprints
Repair presses, equipment, plumbing, vehicles (excluding major engine overhauls), tow motors, trucks, cranes, and hoists
Assemble and lay out new machines and equipment
Transport tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas
Clean machines and machinery parts in preparation for painting or lubrication
Perform general building maintenance (toilets, sinks, light bulbs, ceiling tiles, groundwork)
Assist in training employees
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
Required Skills & Experience:
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
Conveyor repair: replace belts, drive belts, bearings, and tracking belts
Ability to work in confined spaces
Lockout/tagout experience
Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick, brake, roller, plasma cutter)
Skilled with hand tools and measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Boom and scissor lift experience
Daily lubrication routines
Experience with Bridgeport mills and lathes
