ITS has a client in the Bowling Green, OH area seeking a Inventory Specialist. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for researching and analyzing all inventory data to ensure achievement of all inventory goals. Analyzes inventory data and programs to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all inventory procedures. Coordinates all inventory programs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for achieving/maintaining inventory accuracy at +/- 98 to 102% variance.
Works with the Materials Manager to develop cycle count plan to count daily, weekly and monthly with the goal eliminate the need for physical inventory.
Responsible for working with the Planning, Shipping, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Finance departments to investigate out-of-balance inventory items, inventory discrepancies and other inventory issues.
Establish ABC analysis of components and finished goods.
Analyze inventory discrepancies, research opportunities with production through, and provide monthly reports.
Ensure QC-Hold and On-Hold inventory is being handled and dealt with in a timely basis.
Prepare cycle count reports and track progress of inventory accuracy. Distribute various daily and monthly inventory reports.
Works with planning/release analysis to determine the correct level of inventory for raw materials.
Responsible to ensure raw materials will not cause a production stoppage and provide monthly reports on variances
Works to lean out supply process by working with suppliers to reduce lead times and minimum s. Buy
Investigate daily and determine causes for inventory discrepancies. Lead Process Improvement teams and kaizen events to improve inventory accuracy.
BS Degree
APICS Certification
Minimum 5 years of prior Inventory Management experience
