ITS has a client in the Maumee, OH area seeking an Inside Sales person. This is a direct hire role with full benfits including 401k.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to analyze blueprint specifications, material take offs, and product specification requirements to create job estimates and other documents for commercial plumbing jobs. Knowledge of construction materials and methods used in the commercial industry is a must. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of estimating or commercial field experience, strong communication skills, and above average computing abilities.
Responsibilities:
•Understand the scope of the commercial project and its material requirements
•Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
•Create and submit estimates or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, mechanical contractors, plumbers etc.)
•Obtain pricing for quotes by working with the purchasing team and vendors for specified materials
•Assist the outside sales team with scheduling material deliveries based on the progression of the project
Requirements:
•Proven experience as estimator or commercial plumbing field experience
•Thoroughness and reliability
•Excellent organizational skills
•Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
•Analytical
•Competitive and driven to win
