Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Industrial Hygiene Technician to work in the NW Ohio and SE Michigan area. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring services for various clients located in the Midwest region.
Write client reports that convey sound professional methodology, conclusions and recommendations.
Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies including high-level public and/or private contacts.
Performs other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.
Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:
A minimum of a two-year college degree, preferably in a related field.
Experience in surveying sites for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials, air monitoring, and/or mold investigations
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload
Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities.
Asbestos and Lead certifications highly desired
Must be willing to travel up to 50%
