Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Industrial Engineer to work in the Fremont, Oh area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Growing automotive manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Engineer. Salary Range is 85-95k

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TIER ONE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER INCLUDE:

Work with and assist in the design and development of plastic component parts and related systems for the automotive industry.

Handling times studies, waste reduction, 5S and other IE duties

Improving plant layout and enhance flow of work through facility

Collecting and analyzing data, review results to improve operations

Hands-on training and development of plant associates in lean methodology

Understand basics of manufacturing processes incorporated at ABC Inoac as well as customer requirements and procedures.

Use creative skills to assist in solving design or manufacturing issues or constraints.

Maintain and update all 2D and 3D data to latest Engineering level.

Provide primary tooling, component and packaging cost inputs for quotation of new business.

Work closely with customers and outside vendors in the design and development of all program packaging requirements.

Lead and participate in VA-VE activities for ongoing cost reductions

Work closely with outside vendors in tooling, equipment, component and material development.

Work closely with customers in product, project or system development issues.

Coordinate tasks and requirements with interfacing departments and locations.

Keep up on latest industry standards, processes, and procedures while continually updating ABC INOAC to latest technology and systems.

Participate in formal improvement team activities. Support all departmental and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives.

Serve as overall Project Leader on specific new program launches, as assigned by Program Managers and/or Launch Engineering Manager.

Other tasks as assigned by Launch Engineering Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· B.S. In Industrial Engineering or related degree

· 1 -3 years of experience in lean continuous improvements

· Must be highly analytical and a strong problem-solver

· Safety and quality oriented

· Ability to read and interpret part layout and/or assembly drawings required

· Prefer working knowledge of at least one basic CAD system

· Prompt and regular attendance

· Ability to travel, possibly overnight (20% of the time)

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills

· Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills and ability to support a team environment

· Ability to establish and reach work goals with little supervision

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
