Job description:
Repair, install, adjust, and maintain production, processing and facility electromechanical, electronic and electrical equipment. Lead or assist with new electrical installation. Troubleshoot, repair and assist with mechanical issues to the best of their abilities.
Responsibilities:
Repair, install, adjust, and maintain production, processing and facility electromechanical, electronic and electrical equipment.
Lead or assist with new electrical installation.
Troubleshoot, repair, and assist with mechanical issues to the best of their abilities.
Demonstrate and use advanced level of skills for installation involving wiring, conduit and panels.
Repair and maintain the on-going operating condition of production machinery and equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machine efficiency, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus in machine controls, including relays, timers, programmable logic controllers, power supplies, touch pad controls, motor control circuits and electronic components on circuit boards.
Repair/replace faulty electrical components of machinery such as relays, timers, PLCs and components, touch pad controllers, power supplies, motors, motor starters, motor drives, switches, position sensing devices.
Inspect and repair 3 phase drives, motors, starters, fuse blocks, disconnects, breakers, terminals and wiring.
Troubleshooting control loops for tension, temperature, level, flow and speed
Analyze test results, machine error messages, PLC issues, checking schematics, manuals, and single line diagrams.
