Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) has a client in the Toledo, Oh area that is looking for an 3rd shift Industrial Electrician. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
Capable of troubleshooting of Press and Robotic electrical control systems.
Plans and performs all electrical maintenance and improvements as required.
Recommends proposals for improving products, processes, systems, productivity and working environment.
Responsible for helping to maintain a safe work environment while observing plant safety rules and regulations at all times. Aware of all Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Interact with production workers to provide support and maintain ever growing production schedules.
Willing to learn and teach knowledge of an increasing amount of machinery and robotics
Basic Requirements:
Solid background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC’s, and robotics.
Experience in Allen Bradley PLC and Fanuc robotics highly preferred.
Technical skills needed to build, program, integrate, service, maintain and operate PLC’s used in an automated manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of personal computers and software.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and electrical testing equipment
Preferred familiarity with National Electrical Code
Strong mechanical skills.
Capable of reading blue prints and schematic drawings
Capable of working on their own with little supervision.
Associate’s Industrial Technology degree preferred, with emphasis on PLC/robotics/hydraulics/pneumatics or 5 years of related experience
