Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Facilities Technician/Electrician to work in the New Hudson, MI area. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facility Technician ensures all plant and facility equipment associated with the successful fabrication of product is serviced and maintained in a timely manner. The facility tech is responsible for maintaining facility systems;performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all installed equipment to minimize downtime, while keeping safety and quality as a priority. The Facility Tech supports Management, Area Leaders, and Production Associates by acting as a liaison in matters regarding building & property issues, safety, and continuous improvement for equipment, processes and productivity. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Certified licensed Electrician
HVAC and or Refrigeration experience, preferred
Willing and able to fix, repair, maintain, everything in a building i.E. Fixtures, devices and equipment.
Must have an understanding of electrical, plumbing, masonry, HVAC, refrigeration, lawn maintenance, hydraulics, machining, drilling, boring, pneumatics, natural gas lines, air-compressors, dryers, air-c automatic drains, air-c oil separators, storm and sanitary sewers lines.
Experience in plumbing, carpentry, dry walling and painting is a mandatory.
Must be able to install electrical conduit to a 40-foot high ceiling.
Must be able to use electrical meters, amp meters, and phase checkers in live electrical panels.
Must be able to work outside, under all-weather conditions, ground level and on the roof.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, going up on the roof to service HVAC units.
Must have an understanding of Information Technology, hooking up to hubs, modems, routers, Ethernet devices and wireless hook ups. Hooking up or moving TV’s, monitors, computers and cameras.
Be able to fix man door locks, handles, hinges, door closers, overhead truck door cables and door hinges, timing and controls, truck dock levers, truck restraints and controls.
Ability to work with hand and power tools, various tool room equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift, aerial lift, floor scrubber, etc.
Ability to perform various computer tasks dealing with Microsoft Office and emails
