ITS is looking for an experienced Estimator & Project Manager. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project estimation and management, including preparing cost estimates, coordinating project execution, procuring materials, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Work under the direction of company leadership.
Identify and evaluate projects for bidding.
Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare cost estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for accurate cost projections.
Maintain and update the cost database.
Participate in turnover meetings and job cost reviews, adjusting estimating factors as needed.
Procure materials and subcontractor agreements required for projects.
Organize and maintain project documentation, including submittals and approvals.
Develop and distribute project schedules, ensuring coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor subcontractor performance, track labor and equipment efficiencies, and make necessary adjustments.
Prepare and submit change requests to project owners.
Approve project invoices and ensure accurate cost tracking.
Prepare and submit monthly pay applications.
Maintain communication with field teams to ensure proper allocation of Client, equipment, and resources.
Identify and mitigate risks, including unforeseen conditions, scope changes, and delays.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and job site cleanliness.
Coordinate with design engineers on contract matters and project meetings.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Represent the company professionally at industry events and meetings.
Collaborate with internal departments to support estimating, safety, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction project management and/or estimating.
Strong understanding of civil and structural concrete, water/wastewater treatment, and underground utilities.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
Experience with construction management software such as Procore and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
