Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Engineer to work in the Columbus, OH or Tulsa, OK area for a top utility and energy company. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
This position is posted as a range. It is open to new graduates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Electrical is preferred however Mechanical may be considered.
Hybrid Work Schedule –1 day per week in office with remaining days working remote.
Must have U.S. Driver’s license.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will perform electrical transmission system analysis and protection system studies.
Job Duties:
Accurately model transmission system topology including lines, generators, and transformers for Medium, High, and Extra High Voltages using ASPEN OneLiner.
Perform area protection studies and develop relay settings for existing and new transmission line and station protection schemes.
Contribute to development of system-wide protection standards for transmission and distribution station protection, metering, and control applications.
Perform activities related to NERC P&C standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET. New graduates will be considered at the Associate Level. Two plus years of experience required to be considered at the Engineer Level.
Experience with ASPEN software preferred.
Strong communication skills.
