Join this esteemed firm as they are actively seeking talented and experienced Docketing Coordinator with at least 3 years of relevant experience to become an integral part of the team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm. The Ideal candidate will have experince working alongside Intellectual Property Practice Groups to oversee the daily docketing activities for US, PCT, and international intellectual property cases, including trademarks, patents, and related matters.
This role offers a hyrbrid work schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and distribute all prosecution-related correspondence, entering relevant information into docketing software, and updating the docket with completed items.
Create and maintain records within the docketing system.
Address daily critical docket items, verify their status with attorneys and support staff, and escalate to managing attorneys or partners when necessary.
Perform additional tasks as assigned, including reviewing existing processes and implementing appropriate docket actions for US, PCT, and international filings.
EXPERIENCE:
Over 3 years of experience in patent and trademark docketing, preferably in a law firm.
Familiarity with USPTO, PCT, and international procedural rules and regulations.
Experience with Anaqua docketing software preferred, though other docketing software experience may be considered.
Proficiency in searching US and international patent office databases to verify docketing-related information.
