Searching for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our location in Delta, OH. This position is responsible for guiding customers with processing material through the system, work orders, processing jobs, finished goods, scheduling, shipping and all follow up with processing customers.
Responsibilities include:
Receives customer purchase orders via fax or e-mail
Direct contact with customers to clarify order, receive any missing information and/or inform them of pricing
Accurately builds sales orders using customers job specific information while verifying accuracy of input
Accurately builds work orders using customers job specific information and instructions while verifying accuracy of input
Problem Solving (i.E. Correcting errors on jobs, input schedules, resolving inventory/invoicing issues)
Answer customers questions regarding orders (i.E. Order completion date)
Assist other Customer Service Representatives with duties as assigned
Receive orders to prepare paperwork for shipment (Releases, Bills of Lading and Certs)
Preparation of inventory transfers
Daily production reports
Maintain spreadsheets
Assist the Admin Assistant as needed or in their absence
Requirements
Proficient in software programs and Microsoft Office Suite
Capable of multi-tasking and working independently
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skill
Basic knowledge of steel and steel production preferred
Data entry background
Working knowledge and understanding of how processes work
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve problems as they arise
Basic knowledge of steel and steel production preferred
Prior experience in shipping and/or scheduling preferred
