Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking two Coordinators with technical knowledge to work in the Columbus, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Schedule: Mon-Fri;40 hour week
Job Designation: Hybrid;currently one day a week in the office on Wednesdays with remaining days remote. The expectation for this position will be to work up to three days per week in the office.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to the solution of problems or analysis.
Participate in company and contractor meetings covering project schedules.
Participate in the planning and organization of project work activities.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.
Apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.
Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance, as necessary.
System Performance Analysis Team Job Functions:
Develop and maintain tracking processes for various types of studies handled by the System Performance Analysis (SPA) team.
Track NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) compliance studies.
Track PJM generation interconnection studies.
Track SPP generation interconnection activities.
Track Company disabled protection study requests from Company Energy Delivery Operations.
Coordinate weekly team meetings for project status updates.
Assist with communications either between SPA and other departments within the Company, or between the Company and external entities.
Assist in handling file transfers between the Company and external entities.
Assist with periodically updating SPA team goals as they contribute to the Transmission Planning Organization’s Roadmap.
Assist with the coordination and documentation of SPA team training material.
Assist with the coordination of any future cross-training with other departments.
Assist with the coordination of team building and other culture/volunteer events.
Become familiar with various Company financial systems to assist the SPA team with procurement functions as needed (e.G., Create Purchase Requests, and contract documents for various studies with external consultants).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university or college in design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge.
May consider new graduates with a Bachelor’s degree at the Associate Level.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to listen and identify customer needs/wants.
