Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Controls Engineer to work in the Toledo, OH area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Responsibilities
•Description: Electrical Controls Engineers work with our clients to ensure quality and timely completion of engineering designs, control panels, and automated processes to ensure the customer's best solution is implemented
•Design electrical control schematics based on project needs
•Follow customer's specifications
•Interact with customers throughout the design process to ensure client's needs are met
•Develop a Bill of Materials
•Work with Engineers, Sales, and customers to determine the best solution for their application
•Estimate design and execution time for sales proposals
Qualifications
•Be legally eligible to work in the United States
•Successful experience of three to five years in the development and implementation of automation, electrical design, control system integration, schematics, VFDs, servo control, power distribution, and an understanding of industrial control networks
•Knowledge of AC & DC motor drives, PLCs, HMIs, I/O Hardware
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
•Able to work individually and as a team player
•Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•Ability to visualize a process or system from concept to development
•Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure as well as deadlines
•Good communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and other team members
