The Assistant Nurse Director of the Operating Room will report to the Director of Surgical Services. The Operating Room RN Assistant Director will be an excellent communicator and keen decision-maker who is a natural leader and enjoys managing staff and making decisions to support the hospital' s mission of Making Communities Healthier.
This Operating Room is a thriving unit offering multiple services and will require an experienced Nurse Manager to step in as a leader. They will work closely with the Director of Surgical Services to ensure successful operations of the thriving unit that specializes in joint replacements, spine surgery, women' s services, urology services and more.
The OR Assistant Director will consistently strive for excellent patient care through efficient and cost-effective decision making. They will ensure the OR runs smoothly by supervising staff and equipment.
Qualifications
5 years of OR experience
Supervisor experience preferred
Current CPR certification
Valid RN license
