Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a I&C Engineer to work in the Midland, MI/Toledo, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Responsbilities:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
Lead efforts for development of Electrical and I&C design packages.
Assist in P&ID development.
Develop MCC One Lines and Electrical Schematics
Develop and maintain instrument index
Create/Develop Instrumentation Specifications
Develop loop diagrams and other instrument wiring drawings
Develop and apply instrument installation details
Develop control panel designs
Interface with client and team to coordinate design activities
Checking and technical assurance of drawings and specifications
Develop/Coordinate the Development of PLC and HMI Software
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required. Electrical Engineering preferred.
PE, or PE-tracked preferred, with eight (8) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s).
If not registered, eleven (11) years of related practical experience with former employer is required.
Experience in chemical or refinery design preferred
MicroStation / AutoCAD Experience
PLC / HMI Programming. DCS Programming a Plus
Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Strong communication skills.
Additional Comments:
Chemical or refinery design experience preferred. Must be willing to travel. While we need a person that definately has some applicable experience and leadership traits we would also like to find a person that has some room to grow into this role and others over many years. A self starter, willing to try different things, step up for challenges with a can do attitude.
