Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Fabrication Assistant for a permanent position in Columbus, OH. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
The Fabrication Assistant Supports various departments on shop floor including but not limited to: Fabrication, Hardware insertion, Shipping/Packaging, Powder (prep)
Skills sets; either to be learned on the job or previous experience helpful:
-Ability to read/learn to read and accurately interpret prints.
-Previous knowledge, experience interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.
-Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc.
-Ability to learn Hardware insertion.
-Operate Finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc.
-Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of power and hand tools.
-Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. With regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs)
-Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 or 10 hour shift.
-Attention to detail and fine tactical ability.
-Organizational skills.
-Forklift and Pallet jack experience.
-Reliable/dependable attendance record.
-Ability to take direction; working as a part of a team as well as independently.
