Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Senior Mechancial Engineer to work in the Northwest OH/Southeast MI area.
Position Summary
This mechanical engineer position is to provide mechanical design, build, programming and field work for internal and external customers. Its purpose is to utilize 3D cad software and other tools to design mechanical portions of robotic systems, including but not limited to fabricated components, equipment layouts and pneumatic systems. The person in this position is responsible to carry out these essential functions in a manner which reflects the core values of the company's mission: To make a difference in the marketplace by providing Reliable, Respectful, and Responsible Engineering and Technical Services.
Essential Functions
•Lead and oversee the mechanical engineering team. See that tasks and assignments within projects are executed accurately, on time, and on budget of costs and hours.
•Drive the setting of company standards among the mechanical engineering and leadership teams.
•Do estimations for mechanical portions of proposals.
•Creating mechanical designs related to industrial system integration, including but not limited to: robot risers, end of arm tooling, hose containment, layout drawings, and pneumatic schematics.
•Corresponding with project managers, project teams, and clients.
•Growing professionally by engaging in a variety of market sectors with the guidance and experience of the existing team.
•Working on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously and independently with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
Supervisory Responsibility
The person in this position serves as supervisor to the mechanical engineering team and should present qualities associated with this position of authority including reliability, responsibility, and respect. This individual will display professionalism and act responsibly with the utmost integrity and with loyalty to the team.
