Job Description

Integrated Talent Strategies is looking for a Senior EPM/OneStream Developer for a hybrid opportunity in the Cleveland, Ohio area. This role is for someone with at least 5 years of IT experience and is a full-time permanent opportunity with a pension, 6% 401k match, stock equity, and fantastic Healthcare Benefits. This role will sponsor and relocate a candidate.
The Senior EPM/OneStream Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing the corporate performance management (CPM) system. The incumbent acts as a liaison among stakeholders to assist them in query tuning and training the BI toolset from simple reporting to advanced ad hoc reporting and analytics. The Senior EPM/OneStream Developer must understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The incumbent also interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery. This role involves conducting detailed research of vendor products and assisting with general project management
RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy & Planning
·Evaluate logical views, data hierarchies, and reporting structures.

·Provides alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality.

·Gain necessary input/approval of requirements and design, participate in code reviews and perform code reviews for others occasionally.

·Understand the business processes, and how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems.

·Develop functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.

·Assist toto the business with annual budget and forecast processes.

Acquisition & Deployment

·Employ knowledge of the EPM Suite of applications to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security, and other interface tools.

·Develop, implement, and maintain new cubes and process flows.

Operational Management
  • Design and develop OneStream and reporting solutions.
  • Develop solutions to leverage EPM or OneStream experience and suggest process improvements.
  • Lead user sessions for requirements and testing Lead user sessions for requirements and testing.
  • Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently.
  • Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, and performs functional testing.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
  • Provide business reports to management and clients.
  • Assist in requirement gathering and creating system and user documentation.
Incidental Functions
·Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work.

·Attend management meetings on behalf of the team.

·Provide training and documentation for supported applications.

·Participate in hiring activities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Education & Certification

·Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.G., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience
  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Experience.
  • 3+ years of EPM Hyperion Planning/Essbase or OneStream Applications development experience (On-prem or in the Cloud).
  • 3+ years of HFM or FCCS Applications development experience.
  • Expertise with Cloud Enterprise applications preferred
  • Strong experience as a technical resource designing and delivering EPM Planning/Essbase or OneStream solutions.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining calc scripts, data loads, batch jobs, automation, and MaxL scripting.
  • Experience with Groovy scripting preferred.
  • Experience with VB .NET preferred
  • Experience with optimizing business rules and calc scripts.
  • Understands dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of Hyperion Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables, and Essbase databases.
  • ASO and BSO Essbase application development/configuration and support –including metadata design and metadata update administration, complex calculation/rule development, web form, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of FDMEE or ODI for data integration including mapping rules and scripts.
  • Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
  • Proficient in SmartView or OneStream XF or Financial Reporting Studio
  • Provide alternatives based on best practices and application functionality.
  • Extensive financial process and functional knowledge preferred.
