Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Data Scientist to work in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL, Mobile, AL, or Little Rock, AR area. You will develop predictive models and create data dashboards to aid in decision-making processes across various departments. Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, and familiarity with the Azure data platform and APIs, along with extensive development and maintenance within Power BI, are essential for this role. You will be expected to maintain and enhance our data frameworks and architectures, ensuring efficient data organization and retrieval.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement statistical/predictive models and algorithms utilizing diverse sources of data to predict demand, inventory, market trends, etc.
Develop custom data models and algorithms for use with data sets, focusing on machine learning and deep learning techniques.
Use a variety of programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL, to process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Manage and optimize our Azure data platform, adapting to other data platforms as business needs evolve.
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and APIs to ensure optimal data delivery architecture for cross-functional projects.
Create and maintain existing dynamic dashboards and visualizations within Power BI to represent data insights and KPIs for internal stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends in analytics, data science methods, technology, and API development.
Collaborate with eCommerce, Operations, 3rd party development, data engineering, and other cross-functional teams to implement and deploy scalable solutions.
Ensure data privacy and security compliance in alignment with company and regulatory policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data science role.
Must have strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
Must have extensive experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc.) and other cloud services.
Proficient in using machine learning libraries and frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in developing predictive models and interactive dashboards using PowerBI and similar tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
